SHIAMAK UK - Terms and Conditions 

* (SHIAMAK UK = Shiamak Davar International Ltd. UK)

 

 

1. The student (or where the student is below 18 yrs of age, the parent or natural guardian) hereby confirm that the student has been advised by a competent medical examiner that he/she is medically, mentally and physically fit to participate in the dance classes/shows/events organised by SHIAMAK UK and that he/she has no physical or mental conditions that may affect his/her ability to do so. 

 

2. It is expressly understood by the student and/or the student's parent/s and/or guardian, as the case may be (hereinafter referred to as the "student" for the sake of convenience), that it is not compulsory to participate in the dance classes/shows/events organised by SHIAMAK UK. The student expressly confirms and states to SHIAMAK UK that he/she has voluntarily chosen to participate and/or perform out of his/her own freewill and not under any kind of pressure from SHIAMAK UK, its representatives, instructors or employees, or anyone whatsoever to do so. 

 

3. The student understands, acknowledges and accepts that participation in the dance classes/shows/events organized by SHIAMAK UK is a strenuous physical activity and may involve risk of accident, injury to the student's person or property or loss of life. In case of any accident, injury, loss of life or harm of any nature to any student or student's parent, guardian, relative or friend at or around the class or show venue the student expressly agrees and acknowledges that SHIAMAK UK shall not be responsible and/or liable for the loss, injury, loss, loss of life, harm or damage caused and the student shall further be liable to SHIAMAK UK for all loss and/or damage suffered by SHIAMAK UK and/or its representatives, instructors, employees, etc. virtue thereof. 

 

4. Notwithstanding the above, in the event of any injury or other medical conditions that the student may experience during any of the classes or shows, the student authorizes SHIAMAK UK to administer or procure the administration of medical treatment as deemed fit by qualified medical personnel if he/she is not able to act on his/her own behalf and agrees not to make any claim against SHIAMAK UK and/or such medical practitioners, whether for negligence and/or malpractice or otherwise. The student further agrees and acknowledges that he/she will be exclusively liable and responsible for all costs, expenses and claims resulting from such medical attention provided, and shall reimburse to SHIAMAK UK any sums expended by it in this regard. 

 

5. The student shall further indemnify SHIAMAK UK in respect of any claims, demands, losses or decrees, orders or awards that may be made against SHIAMAK UK and/or its representatives, instructors, employees, etc. in this regard. The student shall further indemnify SHIAMAK UK for all losses, damages and injury caused, resulting from or in any way attribute to any illness, accident, injury of any of the members of SHIAMAK UK occasioned by any act or omission of the student. 

 

6. SHIAMAK UK reserves the right to reject the participation of the student in any classes and/or shows for reasons of inability/behaviour endangering the safety/welfare of himself/herself and/or others. No refund will be made to the student on account of such rejection or the student's own inability to so participate therein. 

 

7. The SHIAMAK terms have been conceptualised and designed by SHIAMAK UK under the direction of Mr. Shiamak Davar who is a celebrated singer, choreographer, director, and actor. He has won many Awards including the prestigious National Award for Choreography. 

 

8. Class dates are subject to change, and we will inform you in advance of any changes. It is possible that catch up classes will be on a different day of the week and time. We reserve the right to make such changes to fulfil the requisite number of sessions or alter the in-day class timings to meet the same objective.

 

9. Students will not be allowed to attend SHIAMAK UK classes until all the formalities i.e. filling of forms, photographs, full payment. Signing of documents etc. is completed. 

 

10. SHIAMAK UK classes are conducted by an experienced and a dedicated faculty who have been appointed by SHIAMAK UK. Mr. Shiamak Davar will not be present at the classes.

 

11. Class registration and enrolment is done on a strictly first come first serve basis. Registration includes accepting the terms and conditions on the registration form, and if participating in shows, all requisite show consent. Registration is confirmed only once a full payment is made for the course.

 

12. All advertised fees are for the course only. There will be no refunds for students who have signed up for the full term and attend singular or multiple classes and then decide not to continue with the term at a later point. Refunds are only issued for students unable to complete the term on a case-by-case basis that are discussed and agreed by the management team. 

 

13. Any applicable discount for our course fees can be withdrawn at any time. Any discounts are null and void should the student/parent make a late payment (e.g., before the first class of term for sibling discount, and the passing date for any early bird discount).

 

14. Students are requested to be present for all the classes in the required dance wear. Classes missed will not be made up except those cancelled by SHIAMAK UK. Students will be informed regarding the rescheduling of the classes at the class itself (which can be any other day).

 

15. The duration of all kids’ classes will be forty-five minutes only.

 

16. The minimum requirement to sustain a class is worked out on a case-by-case basis. SHIAMAK UK have the right to cancel a class due to enrolment numbers at any time.

 

17. Any costumes and props will not be provided by SHIAMAK UK and are not included in the fee for the workshop. Students/parents will have to arrange for their own costumes and props. SHIAMAK UK will neither provide nor be liable for the same.


18. The End of Term showcase is a public ticketed event. Students/ parents must buy tickets as SHIAMAK UK will not be providing any complimentary tickets.


 

19 When you take part in a SHIAMAK performance, you make a commitment to being available for the full day from your arrival time. If you are unable to arrive on time, or need to leave immediately after the performance, SHIAMAK Management reserves the right to ask you not to perform at all, without any recourse on the course fee.

 

20. In case of any natural calamity or an unforeseen event, SHIAMAK UK may not be able to inform all the students regarding the cancellation of class/shows/any event conducted by SHIAMAK UK for that particular day/period. 

 

21. The fee paid for the course is non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

22. The rules, dates, show timings etc. are all subject to change. You will be given prior notice for any such changes. SHIAMAK UK’s decision in all matters will be final and binding.

 

23. If you are more than 5 minutes late you may not be allowed into class, and it will count as a missed class. If you are late to more than 2 classes in a term you may be allowed to continue with the term and will only receive a partial refund for your classes. Should you arrive within the 5-minute window it is the participants responsibility to warm themselves up and not disturb the rest of the class whilst doing so.

 

24. SHIAMAK UK workshops and SHIAMAK UK's Shows will be covered by the media. Your enrolment for the workshops confirms that you have no objection to the same and will co-operate with SHIAMAK UK for all such publicity, television, and media coverage. 

 

25. Video recording or photography of the dance / exercise routines is not permitted unless special written permission is obtained in advance from SHIAMAK UK management. 

 

26. SHIAMAK UK workshops and SHIAMAK UK's Summer Funk / Winter Funk Shows will be covered by the media. Your enrollment for the workshop confirms that you have no objection to the same and will co-operate with SHIAMAK UK for all such publicity, television, and media coverage.

 27. SHIAMAK UK reserves the rights of admission and may refuse admission at SHIAMAK UK discretion without providing any reason whatsoever.

 

28. No class edits will be provided to the students due to copyrights of the edited music.

 29. SHIAMAK UK holds the copyright for any exercise, dance, and choreography taught in class/shows. Any unauthorized duplication of the exercise, dance, choreography taught in class/shows, would result in penalty and immediate dismissal from the course, unless SHIAMAK UK grants prior permission in writing. 

30 Fees inclusive of VAT 20%

By confirming/purchasing this class/classes you are agreeing to all the above terms and conditions. 

 

I understand and agree to the processing of my personal data provided on the form according to the terms outlined below and SHIAMAK UK of any changes to the detail given on the form.
